Over the past week, Berbi-cians have experienced constant power outages and they are complaining bitterly about the impact even as the Guyana Power and Light (GPL) says that work is ongoing to fix the problem and Berbicians will experience less power failures.
GPL Berbice branch manager Ayube Bacchus told Stabroek News that the outages were caused by technical problems experienced by one of the 69 KVA transformers at the Canefield Power Station.
