Greenwich Park Primary, West Coast Demerara (WCD) was awarded a trophy for the Most Improved Schoolyard yesterday at the Healthy School Competition award ceremony at Stewartville Primary, WCD.
Executive Director of the Environmental Community Health Organisation (ECHO) Royston King said he was pleased with the improvements in schools as it relates to environmental sustainability. He said that the competition has generated a positive outcome, resulting in Greenwich Park being the school with the most improved schoolyard.
