The Georgetown Football Association (GFA) yesterday received two additional donations from Star Party Rentals and businessman Allan Newark for their end-of-year Banks Beer-sponsored tournament.

Ivor Thompson, Vice President of the GFA, said that both donations were financial but refused to disclose the amounts. Thompson would only say that they were substantial.

The monies, Thompson said, would go towards the operational costs of the tournament which commences on December 16 and culminates on January 1. Some 24 teams are expected to participate in tournament.
