Reading Clubs for both juniors and adults

According to a press release from the National Library, the institution is setting up Reading Clubs for both juniors and adults. Membership is open to young people aged 9 – 17 while there is an Eighteen-Plus Club for adults. Chief Librarian Gillian Thompson said that promoting literacy was part of the library’s broader mandate and the clubs were intended to encourage reading as a stimulating pastime for all ages.
