A 17-year-old boy died yesterday after the mining pit in which he was working in caved in at Micobie Village, Potaro.
The police, in a release, named the teenager as Carl Prince of Micobie Village.
The release said Prince was working in the pit when it caved in on him. He was rushed to the Mahdia Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
