-Lloyd seeking advice from President Ramotar
Former Secretary of the now disbanded Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Anand Sanasie said it plans to select a team for the 2013 Caribbean Twenty20 tournament on Monday, after a three-day trial meet.
When this newspaper contacted Sanasie on the issue he said a three-day Inter-County trial has been organised with two matches scheduled per day. The first two matches will be played today at the Everest Cricket Ground. The first match which bowls off at 9am, will see Demerara taking on President XI followed by Essequibo and Berbice from 1pm. Tomorrow, President XI will play Berbice while Essequibo faces Demerara then Essequibo and President XI and Berbice versus Demerara on the third day.
