Bourda Market stallholder accused of pharmacy break-in

A Bourda Market stallholder was yesterday released on $200,000 bail after he denied breaking into a pharmacy when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.

Jason Adams, 21, of Lot 58 Lime Street, Werk-en-Rust, is alleged to have broken and entered the premises of Chunny Lall, and to have stolen a quantity of phone cards and cash, totalling $425,000 in value, which was the property of Lall.

Adams denied the charge.
