More expansion in sensitive area: A wooden passageway has been constructed near the Celina’s Restaurant and Bar, which was formerly Celina’s Atlantic Resort. The walkway leads to what appears to be an unfinished circular structure, similar to those erected at Celina’s. Though in close proximity, a concrete fence separates the area. The present structures are located in an environmentally sensitive area and there have been questions about the danger they pose to the courida and mangrove trees in the area and whether permission has been given for these works. The business and the Ministry of Public Works have been silent on the expansion works over the last two years. The expansion works are seen by some experts as a danger to the sea defence in the area.
