The Pan American Health Organisation (PAHO) on Thursday presented a number of stop signs to the Guyana National Road Safety Council (GNRSC) to boost its campaign for road safety.
“Accidents just don’t happen as an act of God, but by people that are not paying attention, and stopping to think,” Senior Advisor of PAHO, Adrianus Vlugman, said at the presentation ceremony held yesterday at the Guyana Red Cross Society.
