Paul Anthony Lo Hing, the man accused of strangling his wife, Shoala Gilgeous, in Sophia, in August, was yesterday committed to stand trial for murder in the High Court.
Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry, who presided over the Preliminary Inquiry into the murder charge at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court, committed Lo Hing after finding that a prima facie case has been made out against him.
