Albouystown taxi driver killed execution-style

A taxi driver was gunned down execution-style early this morning and his relatives are baffled as to what sparked his brutal death.

Renie Williams, an ex policeman and driver attached to Satellite Taxi Service sustained two gunshot wounds to his back moments after he arrived at his Lot 138 King Edward Street, Albouystown home.

From all indications the crime was committed by a lone masked gunman who was waiting for some time.

Seconds after Williams parked opposite the passageway leading to his yard, the gunman sneaked up and fired two rounds which shattered the car’s back windscreen before hitting Williams.

One of the bullets passed through his chest and the other exited his arm.

He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Georgetown Hospital.
