A man accused of stealing an Apple iPhone from Dr Cheddi ‘Joey’ Jagan Jnr was yesterday refused bail when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
The allegation against Lyndin Bransville is that on January 15, at Charlotte Street, he stole an Apple iPhone, valued $120,000 and the property of Jagan.
Bransville, who resides at Lot 169 Charlotte Street, and would usually clean Jagan’s car, denied the allegation when it was read to him. Police Prosecutor Kerry Botswick explained that on the day in question,
