A miner died yesterday after he was stabbed in his chest with a knife by an elderly man whom he had a misunderstanding with.
Dead is 33-year-old Winsel Roger Edwards of Guy-Hoc Housing Scheme who was pronounced dead on arrival at the Georgetown Public Hospital yesterday.
An eyewitness said that about 13:35 hrs yesterday, Edwards was inflating his bike wheel when he was approached by his assailant “Chetty” who plunged a knife into his chest several times.
