A man was early yesterday morning shot and wounded while attempting to fight off armed robbers who had invaded his mining camp at Arakaka, North West District demanding gold.
Police in a press release identified the injured man as Christopher Mann, 26, of Bon Fim, Brazil, and the administrator of Gold Mines Corporation.
