The driver of a taxi is in police custody following a daring armed robbery on the Proprietor of Igloo, Camp Street which was followed by a frenetic police chase through the city.
Racer Gavin Gouveia told Stabroek News last night that he had just left his vehicle parked in front of his home on Middle Street and was walking to his business on Camp Street when a gunman walked up and demanded his $1.5M gold chain.
