Corentyne schoolgirl, 13, dies in Tapirs collision

Two Tapir drivers are currently in police custody following an accident yesterday at No.68 Village on the Corentyne which claimed the life of 13-year-old Nicola Bridgelall.

Bridgelall of Lot 11, No. 71 village, Corentyne and of Tagore Memorial School, No.63 Village was pronounced dead on arrival at the Skeldon Hospital. Her body is currently awaiting a post-mortem examination.

A teacher, Andre Ramalho, and student Kowsilya Ramrob, 14, from the Tagore Memorial School, were also injured in the accident.
