Women of Influence, a faith-based organisation that operates out of Central Corentyne, last Friday held a march and prayer session to mark the global observance of International Women’s Day.
Some 50 women, of all ages and ethnicities who belong to different denominations in the Christian faith, participated in the event, marching from the Albion Bridge to the entrance of the J.C. Chandisingh Secondary School
