Patricia Chase-Green was yesterday elected as the Deputy Mayor of Georgetown.
Chase-Green, who has been holding the post in an acting capacity since the passing of the former Deputy Mayor Robert Williams in January last year, received a majority 11 votes from councillors, while contender Llewellyn John managed to capture only six.
Chase-Green and John were the two councillors nominated for the position,
