Minister of Housing Irfaan Ali has denied that infrastructural works in the Amelia’s Ward Phase 2 were stalled.
He made this disclosure in a written response to APNU MP Vanessa Kissoon’s questions as to why infrastructural works ceased in Phase 2 in Amelia’s Ward and why Phase 3 has commenced in the same area.
According to the Government Information Agency (GINA), Ali informed the House that Amelia’s Ward Phase 2 is one of the selected schemes for infrastructural upgrade under the Government of Guyana/ Inter-American Development Bank (GOG/IDB)
