Top hats: Participants from the winning nursery, primary and secondary schools in the Region Five hat show hosted by the Home Economics Department of the Hopetown Practical Instruction Centre on Wednesday. The show, which was held in the compound of the Regional Democratic Council, is part of the schools’ annual calendar of activities. In the secondary category, the first place went to Bush Lot Secondary, while the second and third spots were copped by Bygeval and Rosignol secondary schools, respectively. At the primary level, Hopetown Primary emerged first, followed by Bath Primary and No. 29 Primary with second and third places respectively. Hopetown Nursery, the only participating school in that category, was awarded for the first place for its exquisite piece.
