President Donald Ramotar (third, right) turning the sod  at the site for the construction of the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) head office at Ogle, East Coast Demerara, flanked by GCAA Director General Zulfikar Mohammed, Transport and Hydraulics Minister Robeson Benn and others. Mohammed said he is hoping that the $200 million needed for construction will be approved by the National Assembly. He explained that this year government has put $100 million in its budget to begin the construction. A similar sum will be sought next year.
