Gold for Thomas, silver for Stephan James

Guyana’s quarter-mile, Stephan James on Sunday evening placed second in the men’s 400m at the Falcon Games held at the Hasely Crawford Stadium, Trinidad and Tobago.

James, of the Running Braves, clocked a personal best time of 46.96 seconds in finishing second to Jereem Richards of Abilene Wildcats who won the event in a time of 46.51 seconds.

Third was Jehue Gordon of Memphis Pioneers’ who clocked 46.99 seconds.

James told the Trinidad media afterwards that he had a breakdown during the race as the 400m was delayed on numerous occasions.
