Kites fill city skies with kaleidoscope of colours

Georgetown’s skies were a kaleidoscope of colours yesterday as kites in all shapes and sizes took flight.

Hundreds of families, including some from as far away as Linden, journeyed to the capital and took up spots at the National Park, on the seawalls and various grounds to fly their kites and have picnics for the Easter Monday holiday.

There were scores of bird-kites and box-kites in the air and one family that wanted something different
