A 56-year-old Blairmont Estate worker of D’ Edward, West Bank Berbice died after he fell while working on punts yesterday morning.
Reports are that Chinalall ‘Shook’ Hemraj, a ‘time hand punt joiner’ was rushed to the estate’s dispensary in an unconscious state.
He was immediately placed in an ambulance and transferred to the Fort Wellington Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
