The crème de le crème of the nation’s bikers will battle for pole position on the West Demerara roadway tomorrow when national cycling coach Hassan Mohamed and Banks DIH Limited stage the Powerade 50-mile road race.
The second annual event under the Powerade brand is scheduled to pedal off at 08:00hrs from Wales Police Station proceed to Bushy Park on the East Bank of Essequibo, before returning to the Demerara Harbour Bridge for the finish.
The veterans, mountain bikers and female riders will turn back at the Uitvlugt Community Centre
