The Ministry of Education has offered to compensate the relatives of Safraz Sattaur, the Anna Catherina teenager who hanged himself in January, after he was allegedly threatened by welfare officers in relation to the death of his girlfriend Natasha Nazamudeen.
But Sattaur’s relatives have refused to accept the offer and are asking for the welfare officer who reportedly threatened the child to be relieved of his duties.
