This opportunistic vendor is one of several persons who have been turning steaming hot days into a commercial virtue by offering ice-cold bottles of water to passers-by. The niche market has taken hold quite quickly according to the vendors with whom we spoke. While the opportunity that is being taken to engage in a worthwhile entrepreneurial pursuit is to be applauded we cannot help but worry over what appears to be an upsurge in the indiscriminate disposal of plastic bottles.
