Guyana’s rifle shooters endured mixed fortunes on the opening day of individual competition at the West Indies Fullbore shooting championships at the Paragon ranges in Christ Church, Barbados yesterday.

Following early morning showers and sometimes tricky winds, the Guyanese shooters found the conditions tough at the 300 and 500 yards ranges. Up to press time scores were not available.
