Cassey George lived up to expectations in the distance arena as Athletics Association of Guyana celebrated World Athletics Day with a track and field championship for junior athletes at the Police Sports Club ground, Eve Leary, yesterday.
George, the 2013 CARIFTA Games 1500m gold medalist, impressed with a phenomenal run in the girls U-16 1000m.
