Passengers dislocated as Rosignol/NA pontoon down

The pontoon that plies the Rosignol/New Amsterdam route has been down for three weeks and although other systems have been put in place, some passengers are still being affected, especially in the afternoons.

The passengers told Stabroek News that the Transport & Harbours Department (T&HD) has made arrangement with a few minibuses to take them across through a ticketing system.

They said they would purchase the ticket as per normal for $60 and use it to cross with the buses.
