Whirlpool smile: Yolanda Jonas of Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara was a very happy woman yesterday when she found out that she was the winner of a Whirlpool Washing Machine from the ARIEL Perfect Wash promotion. Jonas, an employee of the Ministry of Home Affairs, when contacted, said that she was thrilled as this is her first time winning in a promotion. 
The final drawing was held at Survival Supermarket, Sheriff Street and saw three other lucky persons: Ann DaSilva of Huntley, Mahaicony, E.C.D, Quacy Rawlins of Meadow Brook Terrace, Mandela Avenue and Devendra Tirbeni of Unity, E.C.D, winning a year’s supply of ARIEL Soap Powder.
The promotion began in March. Drawings for this promotion were also held in Berbice and Essequibo and saw eight persons winning two Whirlpool Washers and six one-year supplies of ARIEL.
