Weldaad Police Station gets generator

With the presentation of a generator by the Weldaad Station Management Committee (WSMC), the Weldaad Police Station is now equipped to deal with blackouts.

Corporal Avella David expressed gratitude to the “active committee” which she said would always host fund-raising events so as to meet the needs of the station. She said the generator was purchased with proceeds from a fish-fry.

She also lauded the efforts of the vibrant members who would “enhance the welfare of the ranks.”

The WSMC had also contributed a microwave oven, chairs and a flat-screen television to the station.
