A contingent of Guyanese Cub Scouts left for Suriname on Saturday last, along with their counterparts from Grenada, to take part in the 13th Caribbean Cuboree.
According to a press release from the Scout Association of Guyana, the Cuboree, a gathering of Cub Scouts from various countries, is scheduled to last for nine days from July 20 – 29. The aim of the Cuboree is to provide the opportunity for boys and girls between the ages of seven to eleven years to interact, experience different cultures and foster lasting friendships.
