Out-of-favour West Indies Test and ODI cricketer Veerasammy Permaul, national lawn tennis player Carol Humphrey and her brother former national youth footballer Neil Humphrey were among those receiving awards
Last Thursday when the Rose Hall Town Youth and Sports Club (RHTYSC) in conjunction with Sentinel Security Limited hosted the inaugural Gregory Gaskin Memorial/Berbice Sports Award ceremony at the St. Francis Training Centre, Berbice.
The ceremony was held in order to recognize and honour outstanding sports performances by persons from the ancient county.
