Inability to enforce laws makes Guyana easy target for visa rackets

Guyana would always be an easy target for visa rackets because corruption is rampant and the government seems unwilling to enforce the law, opposition parties have said.

In addition, they believe the paltry salaries paid to law enforcement officials makes them easy targets for bribery and until there is an overhaul of the  security forces corruption will always be a problem.
