A minibus driver was yesterday charged with causing the death of a man who succumbed to injuries months after he was struck by him.
Iyani Sue Chee, 28, of Lot 33 Nabaclis, East Coast Demerara, denied the death by dangerous driving charge when he appeared at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court and he was eventually released on $200,000 bail.
It was alleged that on February 4, at the corner of Sheriff Street and Rupert Craig Highway, he drove minibus BPP 1578 in a manner dangerous to the public,
