The People’s National Congress Reform (PNCR) has announced the death of veteran politician and founder member of the Party, Margaret Ackman-John who passed away on 29th August 2013 in New York, USA.
A release from the party said that Ackman-John served as a Member of Parliament from 1969 to 1980; Parliamentary Secretary in the Prime Minister’s office from 1973 to 1980; and Government’s Chief Whip from 1969 to 1973.
The party extended condolences to her children, Keith Scott, MP and Marva Ackman and other relatives.
