Sanitation upgrade begins at Princes St and Louis Row

The Guyana Water Inc’s (GWI) Georgetown Sanita-tion Improvement Programme (GSIP) has now begun work at the Princes Street and Louisa Row junction.

According to a press release from GWI, it started the laying of pipes at that junction yesterday and as a result there will be “minor traffic diversion, breaking of roads and noise associated with the use of heavy equipment”.

The release quoted GWI Project Manager Orin Browne as saying that “Pipes will be installed along Louisa Row towards the end of Cemetery Road
