The Moray House Trust has congratulated Ian McDonald on receiving the Guyana Prize for Literature (Poetry) award for his book The Comfort of All Things. According to a press release, The Comfort of All Things was published by the Moray House Trust and the trust takes pride in the national distinction bestowed on the book. According to the release, the trust, set up to honour the memory of David de Caires exists to foster all forms of artistic expression and the distinction earned by its first publication is a source of great satisfaction to its trustees and directors. It extended thanks to Vanda Radzik who was instrumental in editing and organizing the publication of The Comfort of All Things. McDonald shared his award with Cassia Alphonso, who wrote Black Cake Mix.
