The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) is hosting nine United States Coast Guard personnel for two days of interaction with the GDF Coast Guard October 22-24. The U.S. Coast Guardsmen are members of the newly-formed Technical Assistance Field Team, or TAFT, a joint U.S. Coast Guard/Department of Defense team based out of U.S. Southern Command in Miami, Florida.
