The Berbice Bridge Company Inc (BBCI) on Friday donated three trophies for the winners of the Comforting Hearts Primary School Art Competition.
A release from the company said BCCI was pleased to respond to a request from the school for the donation of prizes since the art competition, held on November 16, 2013, was organised as part of an effort to prevent abuse and violence against children.
It said that abuse and violence against children are problems in all regions of the country, the Caribbean and the world at large;
