With one in ten Guyanese affected by asthma, the Georgetown Public Hospital hopes the opening of its state-of-the-art lung testing lab and Asthma Education Programme will take it one step closer to managing chronic lung diseases.
In a press release the hospital informed that the lab, which opens today, and will be located on the first floor of the AC/DC building, materialized through the Ministry of Health and doctors Robert Levy, Debra Isaacs and Kishan Narine of the Calgary University in Canada.
