There are over 800 children living in children’s homes and orphanages across the country and despite a rise in public interest in foster care, placement has been very challenging.
This is according to the Administrative Manager of the Foster Care Unit in the Child Care and Protection Agency (CC&PA) Colleen Khan, who says it is difficult to find families that are willing to take the children.
