Hospital bed: Food for the Poor (Guyana) Incorporated recently donated an electrical hospital bed to 21-year-old Trinetta Mc Cammon of Lamaha Park who is physically disabled. According to Desiree Pestano, the young women’s grandmother and caregiver, Trinetta has suffered from bronchial pneumonia for a considerable period of time and the bed will help tremendously in easing her discomfort. Pestano said she was very pleased with the donation from the charity as it was the type of bed that Trinetta’s doctor had recommended. The woman said other avenues she had explored to obtain the bed had proven unsuccessful as such she was grateful to Food for the Poor for its benevolence.
