Authentic Amerindian cuisine in a restaurant setting will be available in the city come early next year, with a launch set for January 18.
Michael Patterson, one of the five persons behind the venture, told Stabroek News the idea of an authentic Amerindian restaurant had been in the making for the past five years. He said the concept came about from attending the annual Amerindian Heritage month celebrations at the Sophia Exhibition Site and the Umana Yana.
