Elaine Mc Neal yesterday held her annual Christmas party where she feted the children of Buxton, Friendship and surrounding areas. Mc Neal, who is now 90 years old has been holding the party every year since 1994. She caters for 200 children. Each child receives a toy, there is food and drinks and this year there was a merry-go-round and a Ferris wheel. Yesterday’s inclement weather did not disrupt the festivities as children turned out in their usual numbers. In photo McNeal (seated) poses with some of the children.
