It was inadvertently stated in the caption of the picture on page 20 of the Tuesday, December 17th edition, that a quantity of reading glasses were handed over to two Islamic organisations.
The glasses were handed to Mr Omar Cooper by President of the Lions Club of Bel Air Ray Seebaran, who distributed them in the Albouystown area to shut-in and disabled persons. Stabroek News regrets the error.
