Suspected of stealing over $400,000 of items, a Berbician man was yesterday brought before the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts on charges of burglary and larceny.
Carl Crandon, of 6 Courtland Village, Berbice, was charged with breaking and entering the home of Renetta Teixeira. He was also charged with stealing a number of tools, property of Mark Mendonca.
Crandon, who was described as a repeat offender, was remanded by Magistrate Ann McLennan until today
It is alleged that between December 10 and December 11, 2013, at Waterfront, Port Kaituma, Crandon
