A former employee of the Ministry of Amerindian Affairs (MoAA) accused of fraudulently converting to his own use $200,000 belonging to the ministry was on Friday placed on $100,000 bail when he appeared before Magistrate Sueanna Lovell at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court.
The allegation against Glenorvan Edmonds, 24, is that on January 29 at Georgetown, being solely entrusted with the sum of $200,000 by Shoma Singh to give to Ecliff Lindie, he fraudulently converted same to his own use and benefit. The money belonged to the
