Director General of the Guyana Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) Zulfikar Mohammed said last week that while airline start-up Fly Guyana has not yet made a formal application to the GCAA, Fly Jamaica on the other hand is another step closer to taking to the skies, with the remaining issues requiring another two weeks for finalisation.
Speaking to Stabroek News, Mohammed said that he would not comment on when Fly Guyana would commence operations as had been alluded to by acting Minister of Tourism Irfaan Ali.
